Tungsten Alloy Pickaxes are the next tier of pickaxe after alloy pickaxes, they are also the top tier of pickaxe and unlock the ability for players to mine gold ore. Tungsten Alloy Pickaxes also have higher efficiency allowing the player to mine nodes faster and gather more materials when doing so.

Crafting a Tungsten Alloy Pickaxe requires the player to unlock the memetic node: Tungsten Alloy Pickaxes (10 cipher, 
5000), meaning they can only be obtained during or after Phase 2: Tame the Staroid. Tungsten Alloy Pickaxes can only be crafted at an advanced supplies workbench.
