Details[]
Copper Ore is one of the first types of mineable ore that a player will encounter and - once smelted - is used in a variety of early game items and tools.
Obtaining Copper Ore[]
Copper Ore can be found in all locations of the world, however it is found in larger numbers within the Dayton Wetlands area of the map.
Uses[]
Copper Ore in its raw form cannot be used for much, however it can be smelted into Copper Ingots which have more value and use.
Copper Ore can be used to craft the following:
- Supplies Workbench (30 Log & 20 Copper Ore)
- Furnace (20 Copper Ore & 30 Gravel)
Tips and Trivia[]
- Due to it's low usage in the mid and end game, Copper Ore can be mostly disregarded unless required for Copper Ingots and their larger, more versatile crafting recipies.
- Copper Ore can be automatically extracted by a Mining Platform (if within a certain area) or automatically via The Digby Boy. Multiple Platforms and/or Digby Boys will result in a higher earning of ore over time.
- As Copper Ore is required for both a Supplies Workbench and the Furnace, it may be beneficial to not smelt all Copper Ores mined in the early game until the player is comfortable with their system (IE: How many furnaces they may need).
