Advanced Electric Rock Drills are the final tier of drills (excluding the solar drill memetic specialization) after the electric rock drill. Capable of mining all ores, Advanced Electric Rock Drills also have higher efficiency allowing the player to mine nodes faster and gather more materials when doing so.

Crafting a Advanced Electric Rock Drill requires the player to unlock the memetic node: Advanced Drills (10 cipher, 
5000), meaning they can only be obtained during or after Phase 2: Tame the Staroid. Advanced Electric Rock Drills can only be crafted at an advanced supplies workbench.
